Got Peace?

S
(Isaiah 48:18,22) "Oh, that you had paid attention to My commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea." ... "There is no peace," says the Lord, "for the wicked."

O
Peace is the natural fruit of doing right, or at least it's available to these people. That explains why the peace that Jesus gives (John 14:27) is so superior to the world's peace--it's like an altogether different species. It's addictive in a positive, freeing way. It's real!

A
What an honor to be associated with the positive movers and shakers of the planet! These are the godly people who, despite annoying setbacks, do the right things as constantly as the steady ocean waves. These are the ones who, despite costly suffering, refuse to be complicit with evil and refuse to consent to do harm.

P
Lord, thank You for providing the gift of Your peace--that flows like an unending river. Thank You for imputing Your righteousness into my soul (Romans 4:22-25; James 2:23), and for helping us to conceive of ideas for doing great good then to actually complete great projects. The satisfaction of partnering with You is amazing!
